Practical Cooking Workshop for Hotel Management Students

Students of our +2 Hotel Management stream recently completed an intensive, 3-day practical culinary workshop aimed at bridging the gap between classroom theory and professional industrial practice.

Led by senior executive chefs from top hospitality brands in Dhangadhi and Nepalgunj, the workshop focused on core hands-on skills required in the modern culinary industry.

Key Areas Covered: - **Culinary Basics**: Knife skills, safety standards, and stocks/sauce preparations. - **Appetizers & Entrees**: Prepping 3-course continental and local cuisines. - **Service Etiquettes**: Table setups, guest handling, and wine pouring simulation. - **Kitchen Management**: Cost control, storage standards, and hygiene.

The Coordinator, Jeevan Bhattarai, highlighted the significance of the practical curriculum: "Our +2 Management stream is unique because we focus on job-ready skills. Whether it is Hotel Management, Computer Science, or Fashion Designing, we give our students real industrial exposure."

Certificates of completion were distributed to all participating students at the end of the workshop.
